Previously known as the Gun Quarter for manufacturing guns, and still trading today, St George and St Chad are industrial areas of Birmingham.
St Chad’s Cathedral is a beautifully ornate focus of this district. It is the first Catholic Church to be built in 1841 since the 16th Century English Reformation, a place of worship just a short walk away from Snow Hill Station and a range of businesses that surround the City Centre.
